Friday 6th February 2010 - 11.30pm

A total of 13 players turned out on Friday 5th February to play in this small Unofficial event called Pyro Night Tourny.

GROUP STAGES

With the group stages underway, the players were split into 2 groups. One group of 7 and one group of 6.

All players were able to choose a club but once they had chosen they had to stick with this team.

After a slow start after some problems with connections and 1 player disappearing altogether the group satges were completed.

The Final Group Standings Were:

Alloush10 0

Due to connection problems Alloush10 had to resign. Unfortunately Bogged's part in this tournament also ended early as he had problem with hardware and his passion for the game caused him to "destroy" his controller. Despite efforts to get a replacement he had to resign also.

With 2 people dropping out of this group it was left up to the remaining 4.

In the end Abes and Pirate were both on 13 with one game to go and both were through.

In the next game Pirate and Abes both played an exciting game which resulted in a 3-2 win for Pirate.

With Mohamed_2007 disappearing as soon as the tournament started he was kicked from the event. Leaving the other 4 to fight it out for the 2 places available.

Unlike Group 1, Group 2 had 2 players standing out (Mootje and priest) and breezing through their games and group into the last 4.

As the Semi FInals were waiting to be drawn you can be sure who Abes wanted to get.

FINAL

Final was Mootje v Abes. With both players playing wel throughout the tournament, it was likely that this was gonna be a good final.

And it didn't disappoint with the goals flowing throughout the game. It finally finished:

Up'N'Coming Player - Akyss123 - Had a hard group which consisted of Abes, Pirate, Rascal1994 and BadBoyG but still managed a few shocks including beating Rascal 6-3

Player of the Event - Abes - Went on a good run and despite a defeat to Pirate, managed to turn it around and win the event
